Job summary

Thnks seeks a Controller to oversee accounting operations, lead the finance team, and own the annual budgeting cycle. You will report to the SVP, Operations and partner with senior leadership to keep the company audit-ready and financially sound as it scales.

Responsibilities include revenue recognition design, GL integration, and building scalable accounting processes. On-site presence in Franklin, TN is required four days a week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience.
• Active CPA license with GAAP and ASC 606 expertise.
• Public accounting experience required.
• Familiar with principal vs. agent analysis under ASC 606 and gross vs net presentation.
• Defended an estimate and explain support to auditors.
• Ability to translate complex financial data for non-financial leadership.
• Track record of scalable accounting systems and workflows.
• On-site at Franklin, TN office Monday–Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations and daily financial functions.
• Own revenue recognition architecture and GL integration.
• Replace legacy manual accounting treatments with scalable rules.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and GL maintenance.
• Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads.
• Present financial statements with clear leadership insights.
• Design internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
• Manage tax filings, regulatory compliance, and treasury.
