High-Growth Consumer and Distribution Services Firm is seeking a strategically driven controllership professional to lead all accounting and financial operations including month-end close, reporting, budgeting, analysis, audit support, finance, and tax collaboration with executives, COO, and sales teams.

The role focuses on balance sheet integrity, cash management, revenue recognition, and close processes, working closely with stakeholders to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years accounting experience out of public accounting or private accounting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition.
• Experience with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and detailed account analyses.

Responsibilities

• Manage balance sheet, cash flow, and P&L for month/quarter/year-end close and financial reporting.
• Track revenue, margins, and cost metrics with stakeholders across the business.
• Oversee cash management including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Review invoicing processes and contracts to reconcile revenue.
• Perform key elements of the financial cycle and subsidiary processes.
• Conduct detailed variance analyses and financial reporting supports.
• Assist FP&A with accounting interpretations for budgeted transactions.
• Support annual audit processes.
