Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a high-impact Controller in Franklin, TN reporting to the CFO. You will accelerate the month-end close, strengthen internal controls, and build scalable accounting processes for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience leading month-end closes and multi-entity consolidations.
• Ability to partner with Operations, HR, Legal and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with calendars and checklists.
• Oversee financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and multi-entity consolidations.
• Lead general ledger activities including revenue recognition, fixed assets, leases, intercompany transactions, AP, and AR.
• Develop management reporting and present results to CFO and senior leadership.
• Oversee cash flow reporting, treasury functions, and banking relationships.
• Build and maintain internal controls, governance, and segregation of duties.
• Prepare organization for external audit and serve as liaison with auditors.
• Provide guidance on ASC 606, ASC 842, and other GAAP standards.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance and state/federal filings.
• Manage 401(k) administration, risk management, and insurance programs.
• Evaluate ERP and reporting tools for automation and improved workflows.
• Partner with Operations, HR, Legal and executives on strategic initiatives.
• Oversee required government and regulatory reporting.
