Job summary

DualEntry in New York City is looking for a Controller to drive high-impact financial initiatives and oversee the full accounting function. You will own responsibilities ranging from GAAP reporting to preparing for external audits, and develop a scalable accounting team as we grow.

This hands-on role is ideal for experienced candidates with a background in tech or fintech, as you'll work closely with leadership to ensure the company’s financial success.

Qualifications

• Experience at a high-growth technology company.
• Ability to navigate complex GAAP questions.
• Experience in owning or leading an ERP implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function end-to-end.
• Build financial infrastructure from the ground up.
• Drive GAAP-compliant reporting and decisions.
• Prepare for the first external audit.
• Connect financial reporting to business performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.

Skills

5+ years in accounting or finance

CPA required

Multi-entity accounting expertise

Technical accounting knowledge

ERP implementation experience

Strong communication skills

High organization skills
