Job summary

Odevo is seeking a commercially minded Controller to lead financial strategy, governance, and operations for its property management business. The role Reports to North American CFO and collaborates with global teams and client boards.

The Controller will own the end-to-end finance function, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, tax, payroll, and systems, ensuring GAAP compliance and robust controls across multi-entity operations.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Significant senior finance leadership experience (CFO/Finance Director or equivalent).
• Experience in client-facing environments and working with Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, governance, and operations for property management business.
• Own end-to-end finance function: accounting, reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax, payroll, and systems.
• Produce monthly management accounts, Board packs, KPIs, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgets, reconciliations, client money processes, and compliance with regulations.
• Lead audits, liaise with auditors, tax advisers, banks, and external stakeholders.
• Build and retain a high-performing finance team; drive automation and ERP optimisation.
