Paths is a full-scale affordable housing developer and operator seeking a Property Controller to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls for a residential portfolio. You will partner with senior leadership, asset management, and property operations to ensure GAAP compliance and drive process improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting/financial management experience; 4+ years in residential real estate/property management.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience; ability to lead the team.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi) and advanced Excel skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate forecasting and variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Conduct targeted analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Design and maintain property budgets and departmental procedures.
• Supervise accounting staff and mentor junior team members.
• Evaluate accounting systems, controls, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with senior management on financial strategies and tools.
