Job summary

Anderson Frank is seeking an experienced Controller to join its leadership team in Charlotte. This hands-on role focuses on financial management, accounting operations, and team development, with a strong emphasis on NetSuite-driven visibility and efficiency.

You will partner with executives to drive growth, strengthen controls, and optimize processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting/finance, leadership experience, and a proven track record building

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a growing organization.
• Proven track record of managing and developing accounting teams.
• Strong expertise with NetSuite ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and oversee accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain the general ledger, account reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with department leaders to provide financial analysis and business insights.
• Manage external audit, tax, and banking relationships.
• Drive process improvements and system optimization within NetSuite.
• Ensure compliance with all financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
