Job summary

Atlantic Group in Montgomery County seeks a seasoned Controller to manage core accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and audits. The role partners with senior leadership to drive growth and strengthen controls in a complex manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, US GAAP expertise, and strong leadership with ERP and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
CPA is preferred.
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Manufacturing or consumer products industry experience preferred.
Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close activities.
Lead preparation and review of financial statements, management reporting, and financial analysis while maintaining compliance with US GAAP.
Manage audit activities while strengthening accounting policies, procedures, documentation, and internal controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting for senior leadership.
Lead and develop accounting professionals while strengthening processes, accountability, and collaboration across the finance function.
Improve accounting systems, workflows, reporting, data accuracy, and overall finance processes.
