Pennsylvania Food Corporation is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and manufacturing cost accounting. The role drives month-end close, internal controls, and audit readiness while partnering with Operations and senior leadership to improve profitability and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and hands-on experience with ERP systems and cost accounting in a manufacturing

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience, including responsibility for financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, and manufacturing cost accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Experience working within ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead accounting operations, including the general ledger, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain the integrity of financial data, accounting policies, and reporting processes, and communicate key financial risks, trends, and opportunities to leadership.
• Lead manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, margin analysis, and variance reporting.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D to improve product costing, inventory accuracy, profitability, and waste reduction.
• Oversee inventory controls, physical inventories, cycle counts, reserves, and reconciliation processes.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls across accounting, purchasing, inventory, treasury, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate external audits, lender reporting, tax support, capital project tracking, and other financial compliance activities.
• Support cash flow forecasting, working capital management, budgeting, forecasting, pricing decisions, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while building a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Improve financial systems, reporting processes, and operational visibility through effective use of ERP, reporting, and analytical tools.
• Serve as a trusted business partner across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Quality, Sales, and executive leadership
