Job summary

Accountants One is partnering with a growing organization to hire an experienced Controller who will lead the company’s accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.

The Controller will partner with operations and executive leadership to drive financial performance, strengthen internal controls, coordinate audits, and mentor the accounting team to support strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

• CPA licensed with degree in accounting/finance.
• 7+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and cost improvement opportunities.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Partner with operations to improve profitability.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
