Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, and staff management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and decision-making in a business environment

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead accounting, payroll, HR, contract administration, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
• Assist with annual budgeting, business planning, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, variance analysis, and auditor preparation.
• Oversee project financial performance by monitoring estimates, budgets, WIP schedules, and profitability.
• Direct billing, revenue recognition, collections, and accounts receivable activities to ensure timely cash receipts.
• Coordinate corporate compliance requirements, including sales tax filings, insurance administration, audits, and government reporting.
• Develop and improve financial and operational processes while partnering with management to support organizational goals and informed decision-making.
