Job summary

Truity Partners in the Madison area is seeking a Controller to provide leadership across financial reporting, accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial analysis. This role will oversee the accounting function and partner with organizational leaders on financial planning and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; 7-8+ years preferred.
• Experience leading accounting teams and financial reporting.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting function and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee monthly/annual close and guide staff.
• Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors.
• Oversee sales and use tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Provide financial analysis to support leadership decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning with leaders.
