Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the organization’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance activities. This hands-on leadership role will oversee day-to-day accounting and deliver timely financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of corporate or public accounting, strong IFRS knowledge, and a proven ability to develop and mentor an accounting team while driving process improvements to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Advanced degree and CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of corporate and/or public accounting experience.
• Experience with D2C and B2B operations.
• Strong IFRS experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, Notes).
• Ensure IFRS, ISOX, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee monthly close and general accounting operations.
• Lead ISOX compliance and internal control activities.
• Develop forecasting models with FP&A and report variances.
• Partner with auditors and Board for quarterly reporting.
