Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a hands-on Head of Finance & HR to own accounting, financial operations, and local HR for a North American organization operating within a global corporate structure. You will partner with executive leadership and the international parent to deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain controls, and support people-management practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership.
• Senior-level accounting leadership experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Prepare, review, and present P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to leadership.
• Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting, AR/AP, and payroll accounting.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory, standard costing, and annual audits.
• Maintain internal controls, GAAP compliance, and coordinate audits with external auditors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor accounting staff and optimize ERP usage across finance functions.
• Serve as local HR partner on recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and talent development.
