Job summary

MBE CPAs is seeking a Controller to serve as the senior financial leader across the organization and its affiliates. You will guide accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, risk management, internal controls, and financial reporting while balancing multiple entities and priorities.

The role partners with leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience.
• At least three years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial management best practices.
• Strong communication with both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial leadership and planning with executive leadership.
• Oversee accounting operations, GAAP compliance, and audits.
• Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting, and risk management.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, models, and KPI dashboards.
• Lead and develop finance teams across multiple entities.
