Job summary

Urrly is building an in-house finance function to scale a wearable health-tech business. The Controller will own the accounting backbone—from bank reconciliations to inventory costing—working directly with leadership in a hands-on role.

You’ll lead the close, manage QuickBooks Online, and drive improvements to financial systems as the company grows. A CPA, FP&A experience, and ERP implementation exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong GAAP fundamentals and hands-on accounting execution.
• Experience with inventory costing in a physical-product business.
• Demonstrated ability to own the financial close and improve controls.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly close, reconciliations, journal entries, and GAAP reporting to reach a five-business-day close.
• Own QuickBooks Online, chart of accounts, AP/AR, payroll coordination, and cash visibility.
• Reconcile inventory across products and configurations; improve costing, landed cost, COGS, and controls.
• Support accounting for hardware sales, annual software subscriptions, and service revenue.
• Identify and fix errors; enhance controls; select and implement ERP systems.
• Coordinate with operations and external tax, audit, and finance partners.
