Job summary

CeriFi is seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to strengthen and scale accounting operations across a growing portfolio of brands. You will own financial reporting integrity, lead the close process, and partner with leaders to translate numbers into actionable insights.

This role focuses on building a scalable financial foundation, improving processes, and balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution in a dynamic, multi-brand environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Progressive accounting experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit prep.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and analyzing financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and close documentation.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership.
• Establish and improve accounting policies, controls, and processes.
