Job summary

GT’s Living Foods is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead our accounting function under the CFO. The role owns the GL, monthly/quarterly/year-end close, and US GAAP financial statements, including AR, deductions, AP, payroll, and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years progressive accounting experience in CPG/food/beverage.
• 3+ years in Assistant Controller or Controller role.
• Deep experience with AR and trade deductions (UNFI, KeHE, retailers).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and inventory accounting.
• Experience leading accounting teams and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and year-end close under US GAAP.
• Lead AR and deductions management, including reserves and accruals.
• Oversee inventory accounting and cost of goods analysis.
• Oversee AP, payroll, cash flow forecasting, and tax compliance.
• Design and enforce SOX-level internal controls and policies.
• Manage external audit and coordinate with tax advisors.
• Drive system improvements in D365 and close processes.
• Develop and coach accounting team to meet objectives.
