Job summary

CeriFi seeks an experienced Controller to strengthen and scale its accounting operations across its growing portfolio of brands. You will own the integrity of financial reporting, lead the close and consolidation process, and partner with leaders to turn financial data into clear insights.

In this role you will drive controls, improve processes, and help build a scalable financial foundation for continued growth. Hands-on, structured leadership will be essential in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Progressive accounting experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit prep.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and analyzing financial performance.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring GAAP-compliant results.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and close documentation.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Deliver variance analysis and actionable insights for leadership.
• Maintain reporting standards and ensure accurate, decision-ready information.
• Establish and improve accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
• Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders to strengthen systems and data integrity.
