Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a Tulsa-area client in finding a Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting/finance, CPA preferred, and experience with ERP systems and cost accounting in manufacturing. You'll lead the finance team and support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
• Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Identify process improvements and enhance financial reporting capabilities
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
