Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controller/CPA to lead financial strategy and performance for a PE-backed SaaS company in a growth phase. You will guide executive decision-making, oversee audits and vendor services, and drive post-merger integration with strong communications to the CFO and board.

You will manage a finance team, ensure ASC 606 compliance, and optimize ERP-based processes across billing, A/P, and reporting. This is a high-impact leadership role in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial management experience, including as a Controller or senior accounting leader at PE- or VC-backed company.
• CPA preferred or CPA designation.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS business with ASC 606 revenue recognition."
• Demonstrated M&A experience including due diligence, deal modeling, and post-close integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans aligned with growth targets.
• Monitor and manage revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
• Provide financial guidance and board-level analyses for private equity owners and executives.
• Oversee audits, tax, and valuation services with third parties.
• Lead post-merger integration and financial/operational best practices.
• Oversee preparation of periodic financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies; interact with auditors.
• Manage and optimize financial processes and ERP systems (billing, A/P, etc.).
• Provide regular reporting and analysis to exec team and board.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development for finance staff.
