Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting across multiple locations, own the close, strengthen controls, and build a high-performing team. The role partners with the CFO to modernize processes, automate workflows, and support rapid growth in a PE-backed healthcare services environment.

The Controller will oversee a small team, manage the monthly close, ensure GAAP compliance, and collaborate with FP&A to ensure accurate data flows across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA preferred or strongly preferred
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience in multi-site environments
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls experience
• Experience with month-end close, consolidations, audits, and compliance
• Strong communication and leadership in fast-growing organizations

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor accounting team across multiple locations
• Own monthly close, reconciliations, journal entries, consolidations, reporting
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies across sites
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and regulatory filings
• Oversee AP, AR, cash, revenue, fixed assets, and general ledger functions
• Collaborate with CFO and FP&A director for data accuracy and forecasting
• Drive process improvements, automation, and scalable accounting solutions
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audits
