Superior Beverage Group is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities. This hands-on leader will ensure GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and deliver actionable insights to drive growth.

The role is an in-office position based in Cleveland, OH, offering opportunities for professional growth, a dynamic team, and exposure to a growing regional distributor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions: GL, AP, AR, Payroll.
• Partner with leadership to develop annual budgets and forecasts; perform variance analysis.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls; coordinate external audits.
• Champion financial system optimization and reporting enhancements.
