Zusammenfassung

Flourish, based in New York City, seeks a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations during a pivotal growth phase. You will report to the CFO, oversee regulatory reporting for Flourish Financial LLC and related entities, and manage audits, tax, and compliance while building scalable infrastructure.

You will drive KPI integrity, cash flow visibility, and automation across close cycles and financial processes, while mentoring a Staff Accountant and coordinating with FP&A.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and a professional accounting qualification
• FINRA Series 27 (FINOP) license, or direct experience with a broker-dealer or regulated entity
• 10+ years of accounting experience in financial services or fintech
• 3+ years of management experience, including remote teams
• Advanced knowledge of SEC regulations and GAAP, with external financial statement experience
• Fingerprint background check required for this role (FINRA-related)

• Own regulatory financial reporting for Flourish Financial LLC and other entities
• Manage audit readiness and external auditor relationship
• Oversee implementation of new accounting standards

• Hire, lead, and scale the Staff Accountant and accounting team
