Job summary

Flourish, a New York City-based financial services startup backed by MassMutual, seeks a Staff Accountant to join the finance team. You will report to the Controller and support core accounting operations as the company scales.

You will ensure timely financial reporting, assist audits, and partner across the organization to build scalable infrastructure and robust cash and KPI reporting for growth and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in financial services, fintech, or PE-backed environment preferred.
• Background check includes fingerprinting per FINRA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close tasks and prepare GAAP financial statements and KPI reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations; manage banking, payroll, and HR expenses.
