Job summary

LD&B Insurance Services seeks a hands-on Controller to lead daily accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and drive automation-driven process improvements. The role partners with the CFO to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

The successful candidate will oversee an accounting team, implement systems, and strengthen internal controls while maintaining a culture aligned with our BLUEprint values and standards.

Qualifications

• Oversee all accounting operations, GAAP compliance, month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports with KPIs.
• Lead recruitment, training and performance evaluations for division staff.
• Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Back up critical accounting functions and ensure reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, payables, billing, cash management, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• Prepare analysis and reporting with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic input.
• Lead and develop the accounting team and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as a backup for critical accounting functions.
• Maintain attendance and uphold BLUEPRINT values.
