Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking an experienced Controller to join our client's leadership team. You will oversee the accuracy and timely reporting of all financial data while collaborating with local and executive management to evaluate performance and drive business strategy.

You will lead inventory management improvements, financial reporting processes, and the development of analytical tools, while mentoring accounting staff and ensuring strong internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (4-year).
• 5+ years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Background in public accounting.
• Hands-on experience with physical inventory management and inventory accounting.
• Deep expertise in financial reporting frameworks and internal control implementation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, document, and regularly audit effective internal controls.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, including capital spending and asset safeguarding.
• Verify the integrity of financial transactions with detailed reconciliation and reviews.
• Deliver timely monthly and annual financial forecasts and reports.
• Partner with General Manager and department leaders to evaluate results and develop strategies.
• Lead accounting staff through mentoring and hands-on guidance.
• Develop analytical tools and participate in company-wide inventory and system improvements.
