Job summary

trak group in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead and build the in-house accounting function as the company transitions from outsourced accounting. You will partner with executive leadership to establish processes, manage the full close cycle, and drive operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA certification and/or public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing full accounting cycle and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle accounting function including AP, AR, GL, and close.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Oversee sales and use tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Lead ERP optimization and process improvements.
• Manage audit preparation with external accounting partners.
• Lead the accounting integration of acquisitions.
• Build scalable accounting processes as the company grows.
