CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking a high‑caliber accounting professional to join our growing organization. This role will drive corporate accounting operations, including ERP implementation and optimization, to support acquisitions and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and will help build scalable processes in a dynamic company focused on growth and integration of new entities.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Direct experience with enterprise‑wide accounting software (Sage Intacct or Oracle NetSuite).
• Strong background in AP, AR, and accrual‑based accounting (POC accounting preferred).
• Experience implementing or enhancing accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting function for assigned operating companies and lead financial reporting.
• Oversee AP/AR processing for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month‑end closes.
• Manage project accounting: WIP, POC, revenue recognition, job cost analysis.
• Partner with Operations leadership to improve profitability and forecasting.
• Support cash forecasting, fixed asset, lease accounting, and other activities.
