Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Category Manager to oversee sourcing, contracting, and supplier management within the Supply Chain function. The role leads the full contract lifecycle, drafts and negotiates agreements, and partners with Legal, Finance, IS, Privacy and Procurement to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

You will coordinate with suppliers and internal customers and manage contracts through modern systems.

Qualifications

• Draft, review, negotiate, redline, execute, and maintain contracts for supplies and purchased services.
• Ensure all contracts comply with organizational, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Manage sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier evaluations, pricing agreements, contract renewals, and bid processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate contract reviews with Legal, Finance, Information Systems, Privacy, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage contracts through Workday Strategic Sourcing and related contract management systems.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure records are properly stored in the contract repository.
• Provide timely communication and status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support value analysis initiatives, supplier diversity programs, and continuous process improvement.
• Serve as a backup resource for other Supply Chain team members.
