Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, Texas seeks a Contract Negotiation Manager to supervise contract staff, manage negotiations, and ensure compliance across the contract lifecycle. The role collaborates with program, finance, legal, and engineering partners to coordinate solicitations, capture activities, and award decisions.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, build strong relationships with customers, and drive performance while adhering to laws, regulations, and DoA requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership to supervise contract staff.
• Experience with USG contracts and development negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and evaluate subordinate contract professionals, assigning work, setting salaries, and handling recognition or disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate contract solicitations, capture activities, negotiations, and award processes with program, finance, legal, engineering, and other functional partners.
• Serve as the authorized Company representative to customer buying officials, building relationships and managing contract performance.
• Ensure contractual compliance with laws, regulations, and Delegation of Authority requirements; lead internal and external audits.
• Collect contractual data, compile reports for corporate and business-area requests, and develop training on contract best practices.
