Divisions Maintenance Group, based in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Contract Audit & Compliance Lead to strengthen financial and operational integrity by ensuring customer agreements are applied consistently and risks identified early.

You will partner across Legal, Finance, and Operations, owning audits end‑to‑end, coordinating with third‑party and in‑house auditors, and building a proactive internal audit function.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in audit response, contract compliance, legal operations, procurement, or a comparable function with direct responsibility for managing complex third‑party review processes.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret commercial contracts, including identifying audit rights, notice requirements, and scope limitations.
• Experience working with financial records, invoice data, and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with hard external deadlines and limited supervision.
• Clear, precise written communication skills; drafting accuracy is non‑negotiable.
• Comfortable operating at the intersection of Legal, Finance, and Operations; translate between technical, financial, and legal framing.
• Meticulous attention to detail and rigorous document management discipline; experience maintaining audit logs, SharePoint records, or comparable structured file systems.
• Experience using generative AI tools responsibly, including safeguarding confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage the stress of a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to meet in‑person requirements of the team and business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Own all customer‑initiated audits from intake to closure: scope assessment, document collection, position development, negotiation coordination, and final settlement or resolution.
• Test invoicing and service delivery against contract terms across customer accounts, identifying and resolving compliance gaps between audit cycles.
• Coordinate across Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Account Teams; translate findings and exposure into clear, actionable information for senior leadership.
• Report to the General Counsel with accountability to the Associate General Counsel; escalate on matters involving legal exposure or litigation risk.
• Track audit-cycle commitments and financial exposure; produce regular status reports for the Executive Team.
• Own the end‑to‑end audit response for all customer‑initiated audits.
• Serve as DMG’s primary point of contact with third‑party auditors and customer in‑house auditors; draft and issue all audit communications.
• Build out internal audit function; proactively test invoicing and service delivery against contract terms; remediate with Accounting, Product & Engineering, and Account Teams.
• Build and maintain an audit calendar across cornerstone accounts; provide advance notice of audit windows.
• Manage and maintain all customer contract data.
• Apply controls and process improvements identified through closed audits to reduce repeat exposure; maintain a log of systemic findings.
• Produce a monthly audit status report and an annual audit risk report.
• Maintain audit records in compliance with DMG’s records retention schedule.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
