Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. in Pascagoula, MS, is seeking a Contract Administrator C to oversee the contract department for assigned programs. You will serve as the contract department contact with the Program Manager and report to the Director of Contracts.

The role requires strong knowledge of contract administration, experience in defense shipbuilding, and the ability to coordinate with engineering and production to ensure compliance, timely deliverables, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Business Law, Contract Law or related field.
• Experience administering contracts in a defense, shipbuilding, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Ability to establish goals and collaborate effectively with all employee levels.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts from award through closeout.
• Review solicitations, contracts, modifications, and related contractual documents.
• Coordinate with engineering and production to fulfill the contract.
• Monitor risk, performance, and delivery schedules under the contract.
• Respond to customer inquiries and manage correspondence related to contracts.
• Coordinate preparations and submission of contract deliverables and notices.
• Maintain complete and accurate contract files in accordance with company policies.
• Advise management on rights and obligations as set forth in the contract.
• Compile data for proposed contracts and coordinate with subcontract and estimating departments.
