Job summary

Bollinger Mississippi Shipbuilding, LLC is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to apply FAR/DFARS knowledge, negotiate subcontracts, and manage supplier relationships. You will develop acquisition strategies, prepare bid packages, and maintain compliance across procurement activities.

The role requires collaboration with multiple departments, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic shipbuilding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Business or Finance with 2 years of experience, or Master’s with 1 year, or 3 years subcontracting experience.
• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the negotiation of short and long‑term supplier agreements.
• Participate in day‑to‑day subcontract administration activities including market research and supplier sourcing.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up with requesters and end users.
• Review statements of work, material specifications, service contracts, and terms and conditions.
• Act as liaison for communications with suppliers and internal departments.
• Promote continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance.
