Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a Program Manager to oversee fulfillment of contractual obligations across assigned programs. You will serve as the customer liaison when the PM is unavailable and coordinate all functional activities to meet program requirements and objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, PM or engineering and 3–5 years of combined admin and production management experience. PM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management or Engineering preferred.
• 3-5 years experience managing both administrative and production areas or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Project Management Professional Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the customer as the program's official delegate when the Program Manager is unavailable.
• Coordinate all functional activities and support for the program.
• Manage all program activities and provide guidance to departments to meet requirements and objectives.
• Establish, maintain and manage program risks and opportunities.
• Lead weekly functional meetings to discuss performance trends.
• Develop recovery/work-around plans to stay on cost and schedule targets.
• Promote new business opportunities and special studies.
