Peoples Gas System in Florida is seeking a Contract Administrator III to manage contracts from drafting through closeout, including consulting services, software, and major equipment purchases. You’ll work with Legal and Risk teams to ensure sound commercial terms and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, have at least six years of contract management and project experience, and excel at negotiating, risk assessment, and SAP PO processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• 6 years direct work experience in construction, contract management, and project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Contract negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of business fundamentals and related disciplines.
• Excellent problem-solving and project skills.
• Ability to issue RFQs and purchase orders in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procurement strategy planning for contracting methods.
• Assist and advise project teams on technical specs and risk review.
• Prepare contract pro-formats and coordinate with Legal and Risk.
• Develop and lead bid evaluations and coordinate award and execution.
• Provide contract administration support and supplier relationship management.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory constraints and industry trends.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in procurement.
