Job summary

KBR’s Exploration & Logistics (E&L) unit seeks a Logistics Manager (Contingency) to oversee and coordinate complex logistics operations across CONUS and OCONUS environments. The role collaborates with government stakeholders, subcontractors, site personnel, and support teams to ensure readiness and efficient sustainment of mission-critical resources.

Qualifications

• Skills are typically required with an undergraduate degree and 10–12 years of experience in logistics.
• Experience managing logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory, sustainment, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of logistics management principles, material accountability, transportation coordination, and inventory control.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across organizations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for logistics operations supporting ILS2 Task Order mission requirements.
• Direct and synchronize logistics activities including supply, transportation, warehousing, and sustainment operations.
• Coordinate logistics support among government stakeholders, subcontractors, site personnel, and support teams.
• Monitor logistics performance, resource utilization, and mission readiness across areas.
• Prioritize resource allocation and resolve logistics challenges affecting execution.
• Develop and implement logistics procedures, schedules, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Review logistics metrics, analyze trends, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with supply chain, transportation, warehousing, and sustainment personnel for continuity.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, security, and program management guidance.
• Prepare status reports, readiness updates, and recommendations for leadership.
