Job summary

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. (IT-Strat) is seeking a Content Writer to support the Defense Logistics Agency with high-quality document editing, rewriting, and presentation development for executive audiences. The role emphasizes clear, professional communication and alignment with standards.

The position focuses on knowledge management, SharePoint content, and collaboration with technical staff to prepare manuals, proposals, and reports across U.S. government initiatives.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government PUBLIC TRUST / SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance.
• 5 years of technical and/or content writing experience.
• Experience with MS Suite: Word, Excel, Access, MS Project, PowerPoint.
• Experience in Knowledge Management and Information Dissemination.
• Experience creating and maintaining SharePoint entities (doc repositories, sites).
• Experience in Project Management and Process Improvements.
• Experience in Strategy Development.
• Experience in Communications and Stakeholder Management.
• Experience in development and delivery of SharePoint solutions and tools.
• Proofreads documentation and graphics for accuracy and alignment with source content; performs quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting and organizing information for user manuals, training materials, proposals, and reports.
• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, and other customer deliverables.
• Produce and manipulate graphics for instructional materials and visuals.
• Create and maintain a knowledge management system with archived records.
