Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC seeks a Content Strategy & Writer to shape customer-facing content across email, SMS, print, IVR, chat, and websites. You will own content strategy and ensure clear, compliant messaging that aligns with brand voice while partnering with product, operations, and legal teams.

Strong written communication, plain-language expertise, and at least 5 years in content development are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field.
• 5+ years in content development, writing, communications, or content strategy.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading with clear customer language.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking to map business needs to messaging.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Understanding regulatory considerations in customer communications; mortgage/financial services preferred.
• Familiarity with digital channels, CMS, and content performance analytics.

Responsibilities

• Content development and channel alignment across email, SMS, print, IVR, chat and web.
• Own content strategy and experience across customer touchpoints.
• Translate mortgage servicing concepts into clear, customer-friendly language.
• Maintain brand voice, tone and messaging standards across channels.
• Collaborate with product, technology, operations, compliance and legal teams.
• Maintain content inventories, governance, and quality reviews.
• Evaluate content effectiveness using feedback, analytics and testing.
