Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Senior Scheduler to lead and optimize project schedules for infrastructure and water projects in the Fort Knox area. You will drive baseline schedules, run what-if analyses, and apply rigorous risk management to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project, plus EVM knowledge and stakeholder communication. Travel to manufacturing sites and suppliers may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years’ experience in project scheduling, ideally within infrastructure or water projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Understanding of EVM, SPI, schedule risk analysis, and progress measurement.
• Strong communication skills with project stakeholders.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Travel may be required to support manufacturing sites, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline schedules and prepare what-if scenarios to support project decision-making
• Apply schedule risk management techniques, including contingency planning
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule integrity reviews, and progress reporting
• Build and manage resource-loaded schedules, including producing histograms and schedule insights
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to ensure sequencing accuracy and timely program delivery
• Support proposal development, capture activities, and long-range program growth strategies
• Perform other duties as assigned
