Job summary

CIC Construction is seeking a Purchasing Agent to source, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and services to support field operations and project teams. You will collaborate with project managers, department leaders, and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective purchases aligned with company requirements.

In this role, you will manage purchase orders, support budgeting, and assist with procurement planning while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in purchasing/procurement, preferably in construction.
• Experience sourcing construction materials, equipment, services, or subcontractors.
• Experience negotiating pricing and managing purchasing documentation.
• Experience with accounting, purchasing, cost tracking, inventory management, or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and purchase or lease materials, equipment, services, and subcontractors for field and office operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and identify new sources.
• Prepare and maintain purchase orders and related information in company systems with proper approvals.
• Support project estimating and contracting with historical usage, pricing, and vendor data.
