The ideal candidate has 7+ years in manufacturing purchasing, an associates degree in a related field, and strong vendor management and data analysis skills, with Excel proficiency to support cost reductions and supplier negotiations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience purchasing in manufacturing or project environments.
• Associates degree in supply chain management or business administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and vendor management.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Source equipment, goods, fabrication and services with vendor management.
• Review requisitions, obtain product information, price, availability, delivery.
• Receive quotes, compare with requirements and budget, issue purchase orders.
• Negotiate terms and close deals with favorable terms.
• Verify items received against orders and resolve shipment errors.
• Input/update min/max stock data and support purchasing strategies.
