CECO Environmental is seeking a Purchasing Agent I to manage end-to-end purchasing for raw materials, equipment, and supplies. The role focuses on timely procurement, vendor assessment, and cost optimization to support production and operations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of purchasing experience in industrial environments, with strong negotiation and data analysis skills, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years purchasing experience in manufacturing, subcontracting, or project settings.
• Associates degree in supply chain or business administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and vendor management.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office suite; able to analyze data and trends.

Responsabilités

• Source equipment and services with vendor identification and management.
• Review requisitions; obtain price/availability and delivery schedules.
• Compare quotes; negotiate terms and finalize purchase orders.
• Ensure on-time delivery and align with production schedules.
• Update stock/min-max data and maintain pricing in the database.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and monitor vendor performance.
