Job summary

Bancroft Construction is seeking a full-time Project Manager in Wilmington, DE to lead projects from kickoff to closeout. You will coordinate with clients, owners, architects, and subs, develop schedules, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality across all phases.

The role requires experience in commercial construction, strong leadership, and the ability to read drawings. Procore experience is a plus and MS Office proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction experience is required (MUST).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or 6 years PM experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate with all functions.
• Procore experience is a plus; MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Owns the project from all aspects.
• Create comprehensive preconstruction and construction schedules.
• Build strong relationships with owners, decision-makers, architects, engineers, and vendors.
• Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor project costs to keep within budget and profitability.
• Track procurement schedules and provide weekly updates.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.
• Promote safety policies and contract compliance.
• Negotiate, write, and execute owner contracts.
• Manage the closeout process.
