Job summary

Bancroft Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in coordinating project needs in Wilmington, DE. This full-time role involves working with the Project Manager, Safety Manager, and subcontractors to drive schedule, safety, and quality on-site.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of construction training/field experience and strong blueprint reading, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years construction training/field experience.
• Must possess blueprint reading skills.
• Enthusiastic about learning the job role and responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in coordinating project needs with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Safety Manager, MEP Resource, and other Bancroft Resources.
• Collaborate with Superintendent, Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager to identify and help solve problems within the project.
• Build and maintain unity with subcontractors to meet schedule, safety and quality requirements.
• Align subcontractors and resources to Bancroft’s project objectives and strategies.
• Learn customer needs and monitor expectations to ensure satisfaction.
