Bancroft Construction Co. in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a full-time Assistant Superintendent to support the project team from mobilization through completion.

You will coordinate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, Safety Manager, and subcontractors to keep schedules, safety, and quality on track. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years construction training/field experience.
• Must possess blueprint reading skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Superintendent in coordinating project needs with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Safety Manager, MEP Resource, and other Bancroft Resources.
• Supports the project from mobilization to demobilization and helps manage site activities with the team.
• Collaborates with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager to identify and solve project problems.
• Maintains unified teamwork with subcontractors to meet schedule, safety, and quality requirements.
• Proactively aligns subcontractors and resources to Bancroft’s project objectives and strategies.
• Learns customer needs and monitors satisfaction to ensure expectations are met.
• Reads and communicates scope changes related to constructability, schedule, and trades.
• Utilizes owner representatives, internal Bancroft resources, subcontractors, and code officials to identify conflicts.
• Supports Daily Job Reports entries in Procore and building blueprint reading across architectural, electrical, and mechanical/plumbing plans.
• Learns Bancroft’s Safety and Quality Programs and participates in trainings.
• Assists on Subcontractor material/equipment deliveries meeting specs and submittals.
