Job summary

Nox Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a seasoned Purchasing Agent to manage procurement, vendor relationships, and material flow across construction projects. You will coordinate with estimating, operations, and accounting to keep projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include securing competitive quotes, creating release orders, tracking deliveries, and supporting buyout decisions while ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience in construction or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Moderate technical skills for software training and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
• Support estimating personnel with vendor contacts and pricing.
• Assist in awarding engineered buyout and commodity packages.
• Create and manage Hold for Release purchase orders and procurement plans.
• Coordinate between operations and distribution for timely deliveries.
• Source back-ordered items and manage change orders for buyouts.
• Oversee rental requests and cost forecasting.
• Review open purchase orders with accounting and ensure cost accuracy.
