Job summary

Corbins, part of Nox Group, seeks a Purchasing Agent to drive procurement, vendor management, and cross-team coordination for construction projects. You will support estimates, manage buyout packages, and ensure on-time, on-budget material and services delivery.

Qualifications include 5+ years in procurement in construction, strong vendor relationships, and proficiency with procurement software. Travel to job sites may be required; a High School diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in construction.
• Moderate to strong familiarity with electrical commodity material.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Moderate technical skills for software training and implementation.
• Task oriented, adaptable and organized.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and understand offerings.
• Support estimating personnel with vendor contacts, pricing, and lead times.
• Assist in awarding engineered buyout and commodity packages; request updated pricing.
• Create and manage Hold for Release purchase orders and deliver procurement plans.
• Coordinate between operations and distribution; ensure tracking, packing slips, and delivery.
• Source back-ordered items and manage return/replacement logistics.
• Oversee rental requests; manage rental software and cost forecasting.
• Review open purchase orders with accounting; resolve discrepancies and close orders.
