Job summary

SDV Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and turn conversations into successful projects across New Mexico and the Southwest.

You’ll work with executive leadership, estimating, preconstruction, and operations to identify and pursue opportunities early, qualify them, and align SDV capabilities with client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience initiating and closing commercial construction opportunities.
• Knowledge of the full construction lifecycle and contract delivery strategies.
• Ability to collaborate across executive, estimating, and operations teams.
• Willingness to travel regionally throughout New Mexico and surrounding states.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop the right opportunities and relationships.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline across New Mexico and the Southwest.
• Engage with clients before the project is fully defined.
• Qualify opportunities and help determine where SDV can win.
• Coordinate internally to bring together estimating and operations resources.
• Represent SDV in the market and strengthen our reputation with key industry partners.
• Stay involved from the first conversation through contract award—and beyond.
