Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Annapolis seeks a Conference Services Manager to oversee planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and events, acting as liaison between clients and hotel departments to maintain high service standards.

You will manage client communication, event detailing, internal coordination, onsite management, and post-event follow-up, ensuring accurate BEOs, timely billing, and guest satisfaction. Reports to Director of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications

• Must handle client communications and event details with accuracy.
• Experience coordinating multiple departments for complex events.
• Ability to manage onsite event execution and post-event follow-up.

Responsibilities

• 2.1 Contact group/event clients within 24-48 hours and conduct needs assessments.
• 2.2 Prepare and finalize BEOs and event resumes with clients.
• 2.3 Coordinate with Banquets, Kitchen, AV, Housekeeping, Accounting and Front Office.
• 2.4 Manage onsite events, greet groups, monitor progress, resolve issues.
• 2.5 Conduct post-conference follow-up and billing queries with accounting.
